Damien liked that smirk. Liked knowing that the smile was a result of them two sharing their skills. It was nice not to be secret. "Have to admit it's refreshing.. quite rare to find one who is handsome and magical," he said teasingly, gliding a finger down his cheek. Then he looked serious again. "Okay.. let's see, something else.." He focused and all the lights in the room switched off. And then on. Everything else turned on at once too. The TV, game systems, house appliances, etc., everything. And then it all turned off, though the lights stayed on. With a smirk, he looked at Merlin and pointed toward some candles on the table, the kind reserved for candle-light dinners; the top wicks immediately were lit up.
Now he looked to Merlin, hoping he was impressed. He did like to impress people. Right now, Merlin was top of that list. "So, how do you like that? You like it? I also don't get sick. I have this immunity, very strong. And have this weird danger avoidance power, like you saw me do with your fire. But if I do get hurt somehow, I heal instantly. Comes in handy when fanatics try to take me out for being.. you know, special. Like you are." He imagined it was probably the same for him. Maybe. He'd guess so, the history books often painted people in the Dark Ages as being quite narrow minded. Seemed that it was only in the last half century that most people were more open.
