I'm looking for a PSL based off the Colin Firth movie, "A Single Man." The characters don't have to be the exact ones in the movie, but I would like to run with that premise. For anyone not familiar, the story revolves around a middle aged professor who has lost his male lover/partner of sixteen years. This was the 1960's when homosexuality was taboo. He wasn't even allowed by the lover's family to attend the funeral service. After nearly a year of trying to function without his partner, he has decided to end his own life, going so far as to spend the day putting his affairs in order. Throughout the course of the day, though, he has a series of encounters with various people that give him pause to change his mind. The final encounter, with one of his students whom has taken a decided interest in him, to the point of having gotten his address and showing up unexpectedly, being enough to spark within him an interest in living again. Unlike the movie/book, though, the middle aged character would not die of a sudden heart attack right after having his zest for life renewed. Rather, I would like to explore his newfound relationship with the young man responsible for bringing him back to life. This would be a May/December romance and would definitely involve sexual aspects between them, though it wouldn't be just all sex all the time. I am only looking to thread or to write this through Google docs. Also, I'd like someone who will commit for the duration.

Homes for any of the icons here? No celeb/faux celeb. Anything else goes!

Lately, I've been in the biggest mood to use Lily Collins. Check the journal! If none of the ideas interest you, I'm more than willing to brainstorm.
