"I'm all right, Heidi," Gabriel said as they got the candles lit. As soon as they were, Gabriel turned off his flashlight and settled it on the counter. The candles were more than enough lighting as long as they stayed close to them. Moving him behind her, Gabriel slipped his arms around her waist and pulled her back against his chest, kissing her on the top of the head. "Besides, there's no reason to waste this ambiance."
