Gabriel blinked awake, confusion fogging his mind as he turned and groped for the nightstand, frowning heavily when he found that his glasses weren't there. Squinting through the fog over his eyes, he turned to look at Heidi only to find someone's head in his way. Huh. Monty hadn't been that big when they'd gone to sleep, had he? For that matter... He hadn't been himself when they'd gone to sleep. God.
"Heidi?" Gabriel asked, raising a hand to touch the side of his head, the memories of everything that had happened, everything that he'd done giving him a headache. "Where'd I stick my glasses?"
