Who: Jonathan and Helena When: Evening Where: Inside Jonathan's flat. What: Playing the role of the good doctor. Rating: pg-13 for now. Status: In Progress
It was a disconcerting thing when the Joker showed up at your doorstep, and Jonathan was immediately wary. Instead of any annoying tricks, he deposited a young girl, grievously injured. A moment of exposition was all it took before the young doctor acquiesced against his better judgement.. She was connected to the Batman, something quite dangerous. Still, he lifted set about making her comfortable, even forfeiting the bed to make her more comfortable. Even if he were going to do anything to her (and what could be worse than whatever torment the Joker had devised?), he wouldn't bother while she was injured. That just wasn't sportsmanlike, was it? Hardly what you would call fun.
And with the business deal with Dr. Quinzel looming, he couldn't afford to look like the monster he was. He even took the risk of allowing her use of his laptop, and that seemed to cause her some comfort. Though, it was entirely feasible he misunderstood comfort with "something to keep her busy". He knocked on his door, trying to give her the illusion of privacy. "Helena? I've made some tea. Would you like some?"
