Dan was pacing a bit in his nervous little habit. Maybe he was completely insane for this but he figured it was now or never. He had wanted to for awhile but some part of him always made him doubt what he was going to do. A voice telling him he was completely fucking insane, or that she'd laugh at him. Or worse yet, she'd say no and then laugh. He paused then and had to shake those thoughts away or he'd never do it.
He just had to wait until she came back and until then he was wearing a nice path in their rug.
