WHO: The Rani and The Master (and Lucy too I suppose)
WHERE: The Master's apartment
WHEN: A couple of days after her arrival, mid afternoon

The Rani had to admit she she was oddly happy to discover the Master was here. She'd known there were Time Lords here of course. She'd thought they were dead of course, that she was the last of their kind and she couldn't say she was all that upset about the matter. She'd never exactly got on with her fellow Gallifreyans, in fact the only ones she'd ever been close to were him and the Doctor and the Doctor had proved to be something of a goody goody. She wasn't sure how she'd have coped if it had only been her and the Doctor, though she supposed there would have been a certain amount of fun to be him toying with him. This was better though, having a ready made ally here.
She was dressed simply, in a blue skirt suit, fitting in much better than she ever had in her previous incarnation. She looked every inch the professional woman which was the image she was trying to project. Knocking on the door she felt vaguely excited at the prospect of seeing her old friend again. They hadn't exactly got on well in the past but things had changed since the destruction of Gallifrey and it seemed likely things would run much smoother than they had before, something which would make things easier on the both of them, though not for the Doctor obviously.
