Shane was still getting used to the idea of being in New York. As such, she hadn't actually been out of the building yet, though she had looked at some maps of the city online. Since she didn't quite feel like familiarizing herself with the city by going out into it yet, she decided she'd get to know the apartment building better.
After exploring her own floor, she made her way down to the lobby to have a look around.
