After having a talk with John and resting against him just talking, he'd made some good points. He was still very much in love with his wife, and Mikaeala, well Mik was still in love with Sam. She'd spent some time earlier that day down in the garage with Bumblebee, just talking with the car who seemed to adore her and love her. He even seemed to know her better than she knew herself.

She left John's and started back towards her place and stopped in front of her apartment door, glancing down the hallway and tapping her fingers on the doorknob of her own place. She knew he was home because she didn't hear the camaro screeching out of the parking lot, Bumblebee had a habit of doing that. She locked her apartment door and then went to Sam's, staring at it for a good few minutes before bringing her hand up and knocking, placing her hands back at her side.

She had debated just bolting and going back to her room, but somehow her feet stayed firmly planted to the ground.

Maybe she should have asked about coming over and made sure it was a good time or whatever, but she'd just gotten dinner and she realized she really didn't want to eat it alone. Maybe she'd just'd gotten too much food. So there she was with her hands full of chinese food and knocking on the door to Cassidy's apartment.

She had to admit to herself she was slightly nervous, though she didn't know why. Probably because she hadn't warned him. But she'd be okay with going back home if he was busy.
