King had been a little on edge since finding himself in New York. He played it off well, and there was certain to be good hunting here, but he was still a little freaked out. Having Abigail here made him feel slightly better about everything. It just felt...normal...having his partner here.
The weight of the gun underneath his coat was reassuring, as he laid back on the couch waiting for Whistler, his feet propped up on the coffee table.
