Who Alexei and Chaz Where Hotel in Spain What dead fish, vacations, and just Alexei being Alexei Rating pg-13 most likely
He let out a long sigh as he stretched out his legs so his boots ended up on the expensive coffee table. Nyx would probably smack him upside the head for spending an extra day in Spain instead of coming home to get his next job. Well, she could scowl all she liked, he needed time away from his flat for a bit. His father had been suggesting some hideous family dinner. Alexei thought that was a joke of the highest morbid level. His father only invited home when he wanted something or to parade around some new mistress. The head of the Yaxley family knew just how to get under his youngest son's armor. The fact most of the mistresses were close to his age did not help his temper any.
His father was vile.
He shifted slightly and winced as sore muscles reminded him that he had taken a tumble down some stairs during this latest job. Stupid children's toy. He had been focused on chasing down the nanny and hadn't noticed the wooden horse on wheels. Something Nyx would be delighted to hear since it meant she could rip him a new one for his carelessness. That was, of course, why he was never going to tell anyone he had tripped down the stairs. No one in that family was going to tell due to the fact they were all dead. Correction, the two young kids were not dead since they had not actually been at home at the time. Some poor Aunt or Uncle was inheriting those brats now and Alexei felt no remorse. The parents looked like the type that spent more time trying to live some picture life than the type that actually dotted on their kids. Really, he was doing the kids a favor.
Alexei brought his mug of coffee to his lips just about the time his hotel door opened. He glanced over the rim of the mug as he watched Chaz blow into the place as if he lived there. After taking a long swig from his coffee he gave Nyx's twin a smirk. "So, is my fish dead?" Not the nicest greeting, but that was just how he was. "And did the front desk tell you my message?"
The message had been simple. Go jump in the pool and leave me alone. The front desk staff had been confused since Alexei had left orders that Chaz got a key to his room.
"I'd like to say I'm surprised you actually showed up, but I know you enjoy annoying me." Alexei yawned slightly before downing the rest of the coffee in his mug. "How was the recording or whatever? Not that I actually care." His words sound distracted as he started thinking about what he should get for dinner. They could go out and he'd have to suffer through being around lots of people or they could just order room service. Though Chaz might not actually stay and then Alexei could just go to the local corner store or something. He pursed his lips as he thought. Some street food sounded good right about now.
