Who: Gregory Goyle and Pansy Parkinson Where: Knockturn Alley and The White Wyvern. When: Evening (backdated to the other night because I was miserable and never got to it) Summary: Gregory is treating Pansy to dinner. Rating: I have no idea. Rated R, he poisons some random patron just because he's Goyle and he can do that.
Gregory had been running late, or at least later than he had planned on being. Clearly spending more time than he had expected to spend while inside of Shyverwretch's Venoms and Poisons. At this rate, he only had a mere couple of minutes to make it to the opposite side of Knockturn Alley towards the Pawnbrokers and Markus Scarrs Indelible Tattoos, to race up the staircase nearby and make it on time to Pansy at the White Wyvern. Needless to say Gregory was definitely feeling the pressure of time management or lack thereof at this point.
What could Gregory say about Pansy Parkinson? She was a close mate of Gregory's and had been for years. She was a part of the Slytherin inner circle, or at least the part that actually mattered in Gregory's personal opinion. She was also the ex-girlfriend of his best mate, Draco Malfoy. Of course, Gregory had heard the two had broken up, but he never asked questions and frankly, didn't care. It didn't seem to effect his best mate, therefore it didn't really effect him. Besides, how many people actually remained with their childhood significant other? Not too many that he could think of honestly, and if they did, it was usually out of an arrangement that was made and not by personal choice.
Speaking of significant others, Gregory had been feeling the pressure lately from his parents that he needed to keep an open mind and start looking for potential partners. While they had suggestions of proper matches for him, he remained disinterested so they didn't try to push him into anything solid. He was content with his life and the way things were going. After all, he was now a marked Death Eater. He had the perfect job at the Ministry of Magic, and of course there was the other unmentionable things that he did behind closed doors for the cause which also explained why he spent so much time in Shyverwretch's Venoms and Poisons to begin with.
Gregory had wanted the evening to be planned better. He was a romantic at heart when it came to the opposite sex. While he, himself was known for being tough, problematic and prone to violent behavior, when it came to females, he was completely opposite. His parents had raised him to believe that behind every great wizard was a witch who had stood by him and helped him become such. Of course, there wasn't really any particular witch that was in his life. He dated here and there, but nothing ever seemed to stick with him because he didn't need to be in a relationship to feel like he achieved something. What was he expecting by inviting Pansy Parkinson to dinner? Nothing. Gregory had no expectations, but he had wished he had been better prepared for this evening, at least enough time to stop in somewhere and get her flowers, something along those lines.
Gregory tucked the small logo-less bag from Shyverwretch's Venoms and Poisons into the inside of his black robes and moved along Knockturn Alley towards the stairs to his destination. The White Wyvern wasn't the most respectable of places to meet someone for dinner and drinks but it was suitable, a pub that was typically filled with unsavory types and shady dealings, but Gregory was a regular there and often frequented the pub after work when he had nothing else going on.
Making his way to the entrance, Gregory realized he was a few minutes late and it caused him to gruff to himself as he opened the door and stepped inside, skimming the small crowd for a sign of Pansy. You did not want to keep a female like Pansy Parkinson waiting, whether it was for a friendly dinner or something more than that. Gregory hadn't spotted her in the crowd, so he took it upon himself to sit down at an open table.
"Your usual, Goyle?" He heard a voice ask as he looked up to notice the bartender behind the bar calling out to him. "Make it a double tonight, I'm waiting on somebody."
