For DJ - snitch and cauldron drabbles
Thank you so much, DJ, for giving us such a wonderful sandbox to play in for all these years. I've had an amazing time each of the years that I've played, both reading and writing.
Even though I can only be on one team, the stories and art from both teams are wonderful. So... here's a pair of drabbles, one for each of the team pictures on the Games banner this year.

Severus held the Snitch over Harry's head. Its wings kept a frantic beat. He grasped Harry's chin and snarled, "This does not belong in my cauldron."
Tightening his grip on his broom, Harry shifted closer. "No Snitches among the cauldrons. I think I can remember that."
"See that you do."
Before Severus could move away, Harry said, "A little reminder wouldn't go amiss."
"A reminder?"
"Yeah. Something memorable."
"Something like this?"
Severus lifted Harry's chin and kissed him, pressed his thigh between Harry's legs. Their bodies moved together.
The snitch fluttered away; Harry's broom fell to the ground. Both forgotten.

"Stir and add slowly," Harry muttered, aware of Severus's gaze even as he focussed on the liquid bubbling in his cauldron.
"Keep your stirring steady," Severus said, one finger on the appropriate place in his book. "Stop when it shimmers gold as a Snitch."
Harry handed Severus the beaker. The rod clicked on the counter. When Severus turned, Harry walked around and stepped into the space between his legs.
"How long?"
"Three hours. It can cool in the cauldron."
Sliding his hands into Severus's hair, Harry crawled into Severus's lap, straddling his hips. "And until then?"
"Perhaps a little distraction."
