Quite welcome, Squeaky. I'm a transplant from SixApart's LiveJournal site. After 4+ years of being a paid member there, I got tired of watching a repeating pattern of leaping-before-looking + user-backlash + damage-control from the corporate end.

I figured my dollars could go to support a different group of people trying to run a good journal site, and ended up here after looking at a few, and evaluating things like look-and-feel, response time from the server, etc...

Maybe I'll be able to bring a few good users along, and maybe some of those will also buy permanent accounts. :-)
