"Sprite," Domino agreed. If it was safe for Jack, it was as good a place as any. "We're going to need to pick up some new clothes for our friend here, unless you want him wearing all of yours. I don't think mine will fit."
So the guy they were dealing with was an amnesiac with probability-based powers, who at least had the common sense not to blindly follow soldiers when they attempted to drag him somewhere. That was something. Plus, and he could touch people and things and know what they were thinking or where they'd been. That, at least, was completely new... and a little bit unfair.
"Not a mutant, then. Thank you, Rover." Domino stepped back as she finished plugging up Longshot's shiny new orifices. That would explain why he had no idea what a mutant was, even though it opened the door for about six hundred other questions. "So, where's this Rita person now?"
"Oh!" She held up a finger and reached into her pocket. All of those other important questions could wait, because there was a scientific study that had to happen immediately. Finding a coin, she held it out and gave Longshot the choice, "Heads or tails?"
