"Okay." Shielded and trained were both bad, but as long as whoever it was didn't kill or capture her, they'd be fine. All she needed to do was keep them occupied long enough for Rachel to get what it was they'd come for. That was step one. She took a quick breath and punched in the code, nodding to acknowledge Rachel's statement. As the other girl headed toward the file, Rogue slipped in behind her and turned to quickly secure the door. There were technical ways to completely lock it up, but she didn't want to raise any red flags, so she did it the old-fashioned way, tying a thick cable around the handle and securing it to the rail of a bolted down shelf nearby. It was strong enough to hold the door against someone without any kind of enhanced strength, but it was also weak enough that she could remove it with a quick swipe if necessary.
That done, she made her way toward the center of the room, keeping as alert as she could. She knew where Rachel was, but had no idea where their mysterious friend was lurking. As nice as it would have been to really be able to pay attention to footsteps and other subtle giveaways, the hum in her head was enough to make that a bit difficult. The collar made it easier to ignore the voices, but they were still there. A higher vantage point would have been best, but she didn't want to give herself away if possible... which left walking. Quickly. She headed in the general direction that Rachel had gone so she could clear that side of the room first and make sure that Rachel was out of harm's way.
