Kitty didn't ask for any specifics on Chase's condition, and for that Molly was grateful. He seemed to come back for a moment, and she smiled faintly as his thoughts spiked, however briefly. That was good. That was really good. She nodded, loading up a needle to dose him with some anti-inflammatory meds as Kitty asked her questions. "Yeah, It should float. I can swim."
She frowned when Kitty asked a question that echoed Chase's brief mumblings. She'd been trying not to think too hard about what had happened after Gert bailed out. James' voice over the comm stopped her from responding right away, and she reached out with her mind, trying to connect... Fuck. Yeah. Molly smiled. "She's out there."
We're in the 'Frog, she informed Gert, carefully setting her kit on Chase's legs and sealing the pod. Chase is hurt, but it looks worse than it is. He'll be okay. That part wasn't a promise that she could keep 100%, but it was way better to start off with that, especially since there were other people around. She looked over at Kitty again. "Let's do it."
