"I'll make sure Paige steers clear when I'm with her," Kitty promised, smiling as she raised her glass. She had a feeling that Paige wasn't on the list of sisters to worry about, but she was the one who Kitty saw the most.
When Dani arrived, she looked up and waved in greeting, scooting over slightly so there was more room against the log for her to sit. Though she smiled at Dani's sign suggestion, Kitty couldn't help but feel a little guilty about it. Lance really wasn't that bad, and he was actively trying to do good by everyone else. She took another sip of her drink as Lockheed flew out of the fire and toward them, thankfully remembering that he was probably still hot from the flames and stopping a few feet away.
