"I have seen your chest," she nodded, smiling as she looked him over. "It's a good chest. I think it could work."
Kitty watched Lance's face as he spoke, tilting her head to the side as she considered his words. She'd been raised, somewhat loosely, with religious beliefs that weren't exactly like what his Shepherds had spoken of. She wasn't sure if any of that was real, but he was right. Sitting around and waiting wasn't a good idea, regardless of whether or not there was somewhere to go after everything they knew was gone.
"You're not exactly all that dumb either," she pointed out. She finished the last of her drink before shrugging, "I don't know. I guess I need to work on taking more time to think about things like that. How about you? What do you want?"
