PowerLines: Back to Action Storyline Community!

For some reason I'm having this desire to put in an ex-Ranger civilian. I thought I'd check if he'd be wanted for any sort of connections or the like since the civilian route hasn't really been taken before. No point in bringing in a civilian with no ties!

Anyhow, this is the character I'm thinking on bringing in. His name is Gabriel Hawkins. He's in his mid-to-late 30's and he's not been a Ranger for four or five years, more likely than not, though maybe shorter or longer. Gabriel suffered a back injury and was told he would be out of commission for a while and potentially wouldn't be able to resume be a Ranger once he healed up, so he turned his morpher in and left. While loyal and a hard worker, he's a rather impulsive personality type and doesn't always think things through if it's something that will effect just him. He did heal properly, though I'm not quite sure to what degree. I'm also thinking he's into motorcycles (think Ducati) as a hobby and shirking most things resembling responsibility and has likely taken up bikes again since he healed up.

Details past that are still in the works, as I wanted to throw him out there before getting too deeply into things. And no, Lee, your opinion doesn't count.

WANTED: Line or lines involving the family of Caleb Kelton, Nathan's deceased teammate. Other ideas are welcome, but here's what I had in mind.

Amid growing anti-Ranger sentiment in the United States, the oldest child of Caleb Kelton decides to follow in his (or her, we're an equal opportunity storyline!) father's footsteps and joins the PPRA. His family has mixed feelings about the decision, as does Nathan, who doesn't want to see his best friend's family suffer another loss. Over time, Nathan comes to act as a mentor and surrogate father figure to the character. Character should be 18-20 years old and entering as a first-year student.

My interest in this guy is fading fast, but I'm not content to simply drop him. If anybody has any ideas for scenes or plots with him, feel free to let me know. I don't have anything specific in mind at the moment, and I only have one plot set up for him so far, but.. Yeah. Lemme know.
