Every once in a while, there is a rickety old door that appears for witches and wizards. Those that are brave enough to walk through it will find that there is not simply a dusty old closet. Rather, there is a world beyond that door -- one that is apart from time itself.

In a seemingly quiet, quaint little village lies something as dark and haunting as the door that leads to it looks. Once someone steps through it, there is no going back and you enter a world where nightmares become real. Villagers speak of fog that suffocates you, illnesses that steal your magic and try to steal your life, weeks of dreams of being hunted as prey, fickle deities that bring out the worst in loved ones and shatter lives, and shape shifting monsters that devour villagers’ bodies and souls.

The Cellar Door is a time-displacement Harry Potter roleplay with dark themes. We have an intimate, plot-centric community which tests the boundaries of characters within the village. If you enjoy torturing your characters emotionally and/or physically, this is the game for you. Join us and walk through the door.
