The dark lord has been destroyed by Harry Potter and the wizarding world rejoiced. The end of the war brought change to the wizarding world, mostly for the better. People, especially muggle borns, no longer live in fear. The ministry has been thoroughly cleaned and is up and running, making themselves ready for elections in the spring. The death eaters have been rounded up and some sent to prison but others who claimed to be Imperiused or coerced into service have been released with a pardon and a show of goodwill towards all men. Rodolphus Lestrange at the loss of his wife, claimed the imperius curse and is now working to serve the ministry to prove what he can do for society. He stepped into the political arena speaking for the unity of the wizarding world and has become quite popular with his show of intellect and concern for its well-being. Things are not always as they seem. Now that he has won the title of Minister of Magic, changes are coming. After the final battle of Hogwarts, many parents complained to the Ministry Department of Education. Their children did not graduate, nor did they complete exams or get a proper education. There was talk of boycotting the school, forcing it to close. The ministry, and new headmistress, Minerva McGonagal, came up with a plan. They would offer an 8th year to those who should have finished to see that they could get a proper year of schooling and complete everything they needed to. They would have extra liberties as they would be of age as well. Most parents responded favorably and have agreed to send their children to finish the year properly. For those who could not attend, it is also their chance to make up for what they had lost, welcomed back with open arms and an apology from the school and the ministry. Everything seems to be going well, but good and evil do go hand in hand and there are forces at work both at Hogwarts and in the Ministry as the dark side tries to reclaim power over the wizarding world. It is often difficult to see who is on what side, but the dark lord's fellowship is alive and well, building up enough momentum until they can rise again. (Comment on this)
1:04a	Plagued RPG The year is 1998. It has only been four months since The Battle of Hogwarts, but the Ministry believe it important for things to return to normal as quickly as possible. On September 1st Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has reopened, only this time with an extra bundle of students. The old class of '98 have been invited back to resit their year with the current NEWTS class, as their education in the previous year was 'inconsistent'. Room is made for them in their former houses and tensions are lifted from Hogwarts for the first time in a long time. Meanwhile, in Europe, Wizarding communities are being crippled by a virus that slowly destroys the ability to perform magic. Schools are being closed down to try and prevent the spread. Emergency procedures are put in place to try and stop it reaching Great Britain but on Hallowe'en night it becomes clear that they has not been successful. A teacher and student are confirmed to have the virus and the Ministry immediately quarantines Hogwarts, placing a ward around the castle and its grounds to stop the virus spreading further. One by one students find themselves losing their ability to perform ever the simplest of spells. But even as they struggle to try and discover a cure, darker forces are beginning to close in on the school... With their worlds suddenly turned upside down, will the students be able to pull together once more, or will this be one hurdle too big for them to overcome? Death Eaters were imprisoned, wounds healed, and the Wizarding World spent the next decade healing from the pain of the first war. Yet, Voldemort was not truly defeated that night. He will rise once more, bringing upon another vicious war upon the Wizarding World. Everyone knows the story of James and Lily Potter and the story of their son, Harry, but until now, the story of what happened in between has been unknown. It is 1990, the year before Harry Potter will discover he is a Wizard. Professor Quirrell is off to Albania where he will become a vessel for the weakened Dark Lord, Charlie Weasley and his friends are in their seventh-year at Hogwarts, learning all about love, life, and Quidditch, and the foundation for the future is being paved. Everyone stands at a crossroads, the road behind them broken and wilting. The road ahead holds a mystery. Which paths in life will they chose? Who will they become? Only one thing is certain; they must choose. Quadrivium is a canon compliant Harry Potter Interim Era game taking place in 1990 focusing on character development. Game opened May 09, 2009. It didn't take long before he found a way out. Thus he entered through the veil to explore the realm of the dead. But what he didn't count on was that as he entered, someone was released. Looking exactly as they did the day they died, that soul, who was in stasis at the happiest time of their life, has no knowledge of current affairs or their life after that happiest moment. But they're back, and the only way out for them is to die again. But they don't remember death - they only remember life. Appearing in a discrete alleyway in the heart of Diagon Alley, they are lost, confused, and have no idea what to do. But soon after the first of the undead was discovered, those loyal to the Order have been carefully watching, making sure those who return are properly cared for and given the latest in wizarding communication: the journals. If they have family still alive, they are put in touch with them, and they do their best to readjust to life in 1997. But the question remains: what is Voldemort looking for beyond the veil? What is it that he thinks holds the key to immortality? Only time will tell, and if Voldemort discovers it before Harry Potter destroys the remaining Horcruxes, then the wizarding world will forever be subject to the Dark Lord's rule. 9:35p	spliffy: harry potter, next generation Under the warm sunshine, another summer is coming to a close and there are students eagerly (or not so eagerly) returning to Hogwarts; the girls are loitering, the boys are ogling, and the gossip is lingering, as is always the case in a group of teenagers. Love faces off with sex, grades face off with parties, and truth faces off with falsities in the everyday drama at Hogwarts. However, since the Battle of Hogwarts, the Ministry of Magic has been slowly working on new protective measures to prevent such an event from ever threatening Great Britain's schools again. As years have passed, new restrictive spells have been cast on the grounds of Hogwarts. At the beginning of this school year, under the decree of Kingsley Shacklebolt, a radically developed charm will be cast over the entire grounds as a means to prevent the approach of evil spirits of any sort. Unbeknownst to the returning students and staff, however, this spell has a glaring flaw which has not yet been revealed; it cuts off all contact with the outside world. As students and teachers are separated from their parents, their families and the rest of Great Britain, what will they do to cope? Can they band together in support, or will they attack one another in bouts of cabin fever? Though all faculty members are hard at work to find a counter-spell, it may not come fast enough to save some friendships, relationships, or even lives. Oh, and there's spliff. Harry Potter and the rest of the wizarding world were left to clean up the mess that was left behind, but it all seemed worth it if that meant they were free of such a great and terrible wizard. Many of the Dark Lord's followers were found guilty and sentenced to spend time in Azkaban prison, and Kingsley Shacklebolt was appointed as the new Minister of Magic. He had hired Harry, Ron, and Neville shortly after the battle to help him in his pursuit to find the remainder of Voldemort's followers, and the dark era finally seemed as if it was coming to an end. It is now 2001 and while the wizarding world is still struggling to pick up the pieces from the destruction that the war produced. People no longer have to live in fear of Voldemort targeting their family because they did not follow the Death Eater's regime, and they are free to live their every day lives as normal as possible for witches and wizards. They go to work and come home to their families, they're purchasing flats and no longer clutch their wands while they are alone. But their false sense of security is about to be turned upside down. A dark force has begun to rise up into their midst, a dark force that no one saw coming. No one except for the one that made the prophecy so many years ago. He is coming from a foreign country, and the Death Eaters are starting to feel this new rush of power that is beginning to make their Marks more troublesome than they had been in the past few years. Will the Death Eaters concede to this new force that is slowly approaching in hopes of creating a new Dark Lord, or will they rebel against it? And will the supporters of the Order of the Phoenix fight back against them, or be forced into hiding? Only time will tell. What side will you choose? (Comment on this)
11:17p	INCANTO INCANTO a Marauder Era RPG It's 1977; school's out for Summer, but this Summer feels strange... dark, somehow. It won't be long before school will start again, and Owls from Hogwarts are winging their way across the country with the promise of another perfectly normal year at Hogwarts. Homework will be piled on, the threat of looming exams being beaten into ignorant minds, but for now, at least, it's Summer, yet... something doesn't feel right. It's so much darker this year than it was last year. The days seem to be shortening beyond comprehension. The fog is thick and cold and constant, not to mention the fact that everyone seems so glum. There are disappearances being noted in the newspaper, but everything seems vague, as though someone knows what is going on, but too afraid to voice it aloud. The adults seem a bit on edge, uncertain how to handle the evil that is lurking in the shadows. The students, for the most part, are completely unaware of what is going on, even those whose parents are deep in the throes of swearing their allegiance to one side or another. The students, it seems, live in a world of their own, one untouched by the misery and doom of the outside world. Still, there seems to be something very unpleasant lurking unsaid, something creeping and crawling into the very veins of those it infects. Though there are only whispers, and people are afraid to voice their fears out loud, there are some things that cannot be fought.
