"Death is no longer certain... "
The Wizarding world is recovering from the Wars. The magical community is still worried someone will return. The world isn't ready for what happened next. Time has passed. People married. Wizards Married. Children were born. Life was calm. Things were going well, until one experiment went awry. Hermione, in an effort to learn more about the Veil, accidentally resurrected the dead. Regulus Black returned to the living, Sirius too. Even Bellatrix came back. Was that it? No one’s sure. The Ministry has been trying to play cover up since it happened.
That was two years ago. Everyone thought certain families were dead and gone, but with their return, blood relatives of the scariest families are cropping up from their hiding places across the world. The Lestranges & Carrows . The Gaunts and Blacks have living, and resurrected, blood relatives. Trouble is stirring once more as the powerful families of both good and evil find footing once more. The Ministry is still controlled by the good intentioned folk but how long will that last? Now Open! |

Rules | Application | Resources | F.A.Q. | | Ah, here we are! It's 1976. Everyone's wearing funny clothes and silly hairdos. There are stirrings of punk rock in the air. The UK is coughing, struggling through what is its worst drought since the 1720s. Muggles accept weather as something that happens to them; this, they think, is absolute bollocks.
But the Wizarding Community knows better - things are growing ever darker and everything has a cause. You-Know-Who, his name already feared, has steadily been gaining support over the past six years, with no end in sight. Parents are beginning to pull their children from school, doubtful even Dumbledore can protect so many. Many wonder what will happen, are too afraid to leave the comfort of their homes, or - perhaps even begin to see the appeal in joining with the more powerful forces.
Even with the Dark Mark appearing above grim households left and right, the Ministry of Magic perseveres - holding tightly to 'normalcy.' In a public broadcast over the radio waves, the Minister imploringly resurrects the dusty mantra from the old War. He begs wizards and witches everywhere to "keep calm and carry on." Things, he insists, will get better soon. But things are certainly not looking good.
