Moving a strand of his hair behind his ear as he added the valerian roots to the potion, Oliver regarded Ana with a small grin. He was eternally grateful to professor Whelpton for not assigning partners in her class, else he might not have had such a good person sitting beside him. Potions was not his best class either, but he felt both he and Ana were competent enough to not have the potion blow up in their faces. The same couldn't be said for everybody in the room, so he was extremely thankful.
As Ana spoke, Oliver rolled his eyes. Although he liked looking his best, everybody's assumptions that his hair meant more to him than anything else sometimes got a little old. Since she was one of his good friends however, Oliver didn't point out this small irritation to Ana. "Thank you for your consideration in regards to my dashing good looks," he replied with a smirk. Nodding towards the potion, he held his hand out and grabbed the ladle that Ana was stirring with and slid the board with the ingredients on it towards his best mate. "It's all yours," he continued with a smile. "We're on point number six."
