Eveline felt her heart seize a little at his frown. He's just acting, she told herself. It wasn't as if it was any sort of secret that he would put on whatever face he needed to. At his next comment, however, Eveline scoff. Curious, him showing up on accident when she had been secretly dying to run into him again. She inspected his face for a minute, wondering if he wanted to see her again too. She thought for a moment about that night and the spot over heart where he had touched tingled. "So strange I would be by my common room." She squinted a suspicous eye at him. "You were waiting for me. That is so creepy." Despite her words, she was fighting a wry smile.
When he mentioned his cigarette, Eveline looked down at it in her hand. She wasn't sure if she loathed it or cherished it as his calling card. "Fifteen points from Slytherin," she said softly as she reached up and put it back between his lips her other fingers touching his face gently. Slowly letting go of her breath, Eveline checked her watch. Any distraction from his lips would do. "I suppose you'll go for the hat trick this week. Sunday work for you?" Her tone was somewhat sarcastic, but not for lack of trying.
