He did notice her bit of surprise, and made a mental note of it for use in the future. She was adorable when she was surprised, maybe he would have to do it more often. His mind was already racing with the possibilities of what he could buy her. He should probably start off with something small. His mind snapped back into place though when she burned the butt of his cigarette away and he shook his head in disapproval. "You know, you could have just picked it up. Don't let magic make you lazy Ev," he tilted his head to the side and gave her a cute smirk. He knew he was a good looking kid, no matter if she wanted to admit it or not.
His smirk disappeared and turned into a hurt frown when she took more points away. He grasped at his chest where is heart was as though he was in pain. "Now you're just being cruel, which really hurts love," he chided, giving her a puppy dog pout before shrugging his shoulders. "You know, you take your 'job' a little too seriously. It wouldn't kill you to lighten up a bit," he said before adding, "And you know, I could always help with the lightening up bit." He stepped even closer, pushing at her buttons. It really wouldn't hurt him if she pushed him away, because then maybe she would just be on her way. But if she didn't... well, then things might get interesting.
