Dominic quickly remembered that she had to have a clear view of him. Sometimes he honestly forgot she couldn't hear and it actually made him feel like an ass. He shuffled into the light a bit, trying to let her not notice. I mean after all, he could be a bigger jerk and go on talking in the dark so she would never know what he was saying. Besides, Eveline was just to pretty, especially with that cute little face! He almost wanted to laugh, but kept his composure.
He watched particularly amused as she ground out his cigarette. "You know Miss Dunstan, littering costs you ten house points," he said, motioning to the floor where the smashed cigarette now rested. "I just might have to turn you in right back." He took a step forward as she took a step back, bringing himself even closer to her.
His amusement began to fade at her harping and he rolled his eyes. "Seriously Ev, how old are we? Are you usually in bed at the right curfew while you're at home?" he mused before scoffing and answering himself. "Of course you do... Silly me." He smiled in a mocking way, before softening it a bit, letting her know he was joking.
