Who: Oliver and Nora Avery. What: Weekly gossip session of evil. When: Monday evening, after dinner. Where: On the grounds. Rating: PG-13? Status: Incomplete // Closed
Nora ate her dinner quickly - but that was nothing new - and excitedly hurried out to the grounds to wait for Oliver. She had been missing him terribly of late. As much as she knew it would have grown tiresome to be always known as "Oliver's little sister," even more so than she was already, she did still imagine that sharing a commonroom with him would have been lovely. Separated as they were, she sometimes grew very sour waiting to see his shining face and hear updates on all his wicked plots. It was easily the highlight of her week.
It wasn't that she didn't enjoy her own social spheres, but they didn't exactly offer the kind of honest intellectual intimacy she shared with Oliver. And being around her inferiors in such great numbers for such great lengths of time could grow very wearing.
Besides, Nora was particularly temperamental now because of what she considered "The Macmillan Problem." She couldn't even imagine what Oliver's reaction would be to that, if she ever told him. If there was one thing that would make him wish she still had schoolgirl stars in her eyes for no one but Veronica Robards, surely, it was that.
