Resting his forehead against hers after she booped his nose and he let go a small chuckle, Casey looked at her coyly. "I know, right? Better late than never, huh?" He was unsure of just how long Valerie had liked him. He had always enjoyed her company as a friend, but had only really started seeing her as something more during her party. His feelings had only served to escalate from there, leading them both up to this point.
Withdrawing as Valerie continued talking, Casey frowned a little. Expectations? Was he supposed to have them? Did she?
