Prefect rounds usually meant Al wandered the halls and escorted people back to their commonrooms if they were found outside of curfew. Not tonight. His brain was muddled, he hadn't finished his Arithmancy problems, and Headmaster Snape's omnipresence hadn't helped Al clear his head out in the graveyard earlier in the evening. now he was stomping around the castle. Two Hufflepuffs had detention, a Gryffindor had to give up all of the treats he was sneaking back to his commonroom from the kitchens, and now Al was on his way up the steps to his favourite place in the castle to either bust some adoring couple or get some needed star and moon gazing.
he wasn't even being quiet about his rampaging path up the stone steps. No, he was ready to assign detention to those who trespassed on the sacred area that was The Astronomy Tower. When he whipped the door open to the classroom platform, Al stood and the door and clammed up. She was not the person he was expecting to see sitting next to the bay windows almost falling out.
"Well, I.." Albus didn't even have a reply. "I didn't mean to. I have prefect rounds tonight." The last part came out in a mumble and he held onto his wand a little tighter. His eyes looked her over and then gazed out the window at the pearly moon hanging in the dark sky. "The moon is going to be full in six days."
