"Well, boys get stupid when it comes to girls." Casey shrugged and let slip that little nugget of information, fully aware that he was included in acting like an idiot where the fairer sex were involved. "It's just how life goes."
Casey ignored the comment about knowing Cian Dolohov, keeping in mind what his mother had always told him. If you have nothing nice to say, keep quiet. When they weren't fighting, the Slytherin made Orna happy though, and that was all that Casey cared about. So keeping silent was a good plan, especially as he listened to Orna's ideas. Everything seemed pretty perfect from where he sat.
"Okay, it all sounds great," he admitted as he reclined in his seat. Max would get bought by Orna in a seemingly defiant move against Cian, and she would then pass Max onto Becca when Orna and Dolohov had reconciled. It was completely plausible. "Hopefully Max isn't stupid enough to notice that Becca actually likes him. If they come back from Hogsmeade and nothing has changed, we'll have to think of something else." Now the idea was in his head, he knew it wouldn't shift. Becca liked Max. Casey knew his best mate, and he was sure that once Max's mindset about Becca changed, he might just return those feelings. It was all up to chance though.
