Gwen did note that her timing had been impeccable, much to her surprise. With a sharp nod and a smug smile, she gave James a smirk, "We're on good terms, old Mother Nature and I." Adjusting her position so not to crowd him, Gwen sighed happily to herself, glad that the awkwardness had disappeared. Now it was all over and there would be no more pining looks or sleepless nights.
"You won't have to think about it," she replied with a somewhat coy smile, "Because I'll be there to distract you, of course."
