James laughed when gave him her usual light slap. Clearly, this wasn't going to change how they interacted much, which was perfect as far as James was concerned. He'd always loved messing about with Gwen, teasing each other until she got fed up and hit him.
He scooted over at Gwen's nudge, making sure there was enough room for her to sit comfortably. Neither of them were big people, plus James was more than happy to sit closely with Gwen. At her question and the following flash of lightning, James laughed with her. "Have you got some kind of deal with Mother Nature? Excellent timing." He paused for a moment and brushed his thumb along the back of her hand as the thunder rumbled. "I think that the next time there's a thunderstorm, I'm going to think about this and it's not going to seem nearly so bad."
