James did give Gwen a small smile at her comment. "Having a phobia is such a pain in the arse," James muttered under his breath. He really had tried just about every possible way of distracting himself during previous storms, including putting a silencing charm on his bed hangings, but since he knew it was storming, it didn't do any good.
He sighed. It also didn't do any good to think about it. For now, at least, Gwen was here, and he could focus on her instead. James had been so anxious about the storm during the day that he hadn't stared at her nearly as much as had become normal, and now, since they were having a conversation, he even had an excuse. "How about you? Didn't the potion work?"
