Once her senses are full, and once she realizes what exactly has happened, there is only one emotion, more pronounced than any other: and that is anger. It flares within her and she's tempted to kick and scream and maybe throw her tea at someone, but instead she sinks lower into her chair and closes her eyes. She's barely holding it in, but by staying like this for a while, her anger fades and leaves with only impatience and frustration to take its place. So she stands, cool and composed, and takes a second to look around. There are people, not a terrible amount, but they're not who or what she's waiting for. They must also be waiting...
She approaches the fireplace and stares into it for a couple minutes. After a beat, she throws the cup of tea in her hands at the flames, without a word, shoulders shaking with unreleased rage; and, maybe not noticeable to anyone else, sadness. How could she have failed Bernkastel again? What kind of punishment would she get now?
