Jennifer wasn't sure how John was going to react to her confession. She was beginning to wonder if she should take it back, but didn't when she saw John standing from his chair. Oh gods, he was going to leave! Her mouth opened but quickly shut it when he rounded her desk.
"No, it's not the friendship kind of like," she dumbly said. She watched as he knelt in front of her. Her lips curled up into a huge grin, and she felt herself blush again. "Good! I mean...good!"
Jennifer looked down at him, her body warming from their closeness. She had always wondered what it would be like to kiss him, and this was her chance to find out. After taking a deep breath, she reached down and placed her hand on his cheek.
"I think I may need to do this," Jennifer whispered before she leaned forward and softly pressed her lips to his. She then tilted her head a bit, and slowly deepened the kiss.
