When John heard Jennifer's voice, he smiled and hurried back to her office. "Hey there," he said, noticing that she was a little pink. It didn't seem warm in there. Had he interrupted something?
"I...um..." He looked back over his shoulder for a moment though he wasn't sure completely sure why. "Not sure if you heard, but there several people disappeared from the Gemini outpost without a trace," he told her. "We processing everything we collected at the scene, but there was some writing that we found on the walls and on a few of the computers. I was hoping you might be able to take a look?"
He set the tablet down in front of her before shifting a little bit. He knew he should probably let her get back to work, but he found that he didn't want to leave quite yet. Especially not since he hadn't seen her in a while.
"How was your trip?" he asked, rubbing the back of his neck before crossing his arms. "Wasn't the same around here without you."
