Fred was glad Carson wasn't upset over Sammy barging into his office. A lot of the people living in Poseidon had pets, but there were a few who didn't like to have animals around them. Fred was glad Carson wasn't one of them. She figured he wouldn't mind since he was such a caring person. And adorable, especially when he smiled like he was smiling now.
"We shall," Fred said with a grin. She paused for a moment to shrug her lab jacket off, and placed it on the hook outside of Carson's door. She then looked down at Sammy. "Come on, troublemaker."
Sammy, however, seemed to have ideas of his own. He nudged both Carson and Fred toward the door of the lab, before trotting back to Fred's office. Fred raised her eyebrows, and shook her head. It would seem her rufus was trying to play matchmaker. It didn't surprise her, though, since she tended to talk a lot about Carson, and Sammy knew she wanted to spend time alone with the other doctor.
Not that they were going on a date. It was just two adults, having lunch. Besides, Fred was pretty sure Carson was interested in someone else. He was handsome and there were a lot of pretty women in the city.
"He seems to think he's too good for us," Fred said with a soft laugh before they walked out of the lab.
After using one of the transporters, they were soon near the dining hall. Looking at Carson, Fred smiled as they walked inside to grab some sandwiches and fruit. "How are you doing? Settling in okay? I know General Landry has been wanting to come by and meet you but the poor man has been swamped lately. Mostly because of Rodney McKay almost blowing up Atlantis," she said as she rolled her eyes.
