"Really," Carson said with a smile. "I love you too, Fred."
Luka showed up just then, so he followed her out to greet the other man, giving him a grin when he walked in. Luka seemed a bit unsure of himself, the way he was standing there, and it made Carson wonder when had been the last time he had actually spent time with anyone outside of a work situation.
"She does have quite a few movies," Carson told him. "Maybe you can help me in picking one out because I had no idea what to choose yesterday."
A smile tugged at Luka's as he nodded. "Okay. That sounds good. The beer does too. Doesn't matter if it's not European. I probably wouldn't even know what that tasted like anymore."
"So what do you like when it comes to movies?" Carson asked as Luka moved into the living room in Fred's quarters so they could choose something to watch.
"Erm..." Luka said, scratching the back of his head. "I like Shakespeare, and I like historical films and westerns." He gave them a smile. "I used to watch the westerns with my father when I was growing up."
