Crossover, Batman Beyond/DC Comics, Terry McGinnis/Tim Drake, new tricks
"Is that all you've got?" Terry taunted, catching the batarang with ease.
"No," Tim replied calmly. "I'm saving the new tricks for when you stop sucking."
"Hey!" Terry jumped from the ledge towards his new comrade from... the past or the future or some alternate reality. It didn't matter. He was just relieved that the dude wasn't evil. Or... messed up, like the Tim from his own world.
Well, the kid was a Robin, so it was a given that he was messed up, but at least he wasn't sporting white face paint yet. He was a clever bastard though. Terry missed the tripwire on the ledge and landed face first on the rooftop.
The kid was smiling at him. Terry glared. "That wasn't cool."
Robin's eyeslits narrowed. "I don't recall crime-fighting being easy where I come from. Is being unobservant acceptable here?"
Terry stood, brushing dust off his suit. Bruce would kill him if that hit broke any of the mask's new optics. "We're not crime-fighting right now. We're just..." He shrugged. "Messing around."
"Ah." Tim wasn't smiling, but he wasn't giving him the death glare either. "So what else does that entail?"
"Well, girls. Which we can't really get in these suits." Terry sat on the ledge. "I mean, we can. But they tend to be really bouncy fangirls, and they're kinda crazy."
Robin blinked. "I go both ways."
"What?"
"I'm bi."
Terry stared. "Good... for you?"
Robin sighed. "Are you seriously the Batman here?"
"Yes. Well... I mean... Bruce helps."
"Right." Tim walked over and placed his hands on Terry's shoulders. "I am bisexual. Meaning I can mess around with girls OR boys. Or both at once, but that's a bit much."
"You're hitting on me!"
"Yes." Robin folded his arms and stood back.
"Geez. Just say so, kid." Terry went to run his hand through his hair, only to realize the mask was still on. He looked out onto the city, still bustling even at this late hour, and then back at Tim. "Where do you want to do this?"
Tim was straddling his lap and pressing a kiss against the mask. "Here is fine."
"Whoa." Terry grabbed the ledge. "Let's at least move this," Tim was rocking in his lap, biting at his neck. "Onto the floor."
Robin's response was to bite harder, and Terry wondered if the kid could snap the optic wires with his teeth. It would be a good trick. If he wasn't in danger of falling to his death, he might've asked Robin to show him.
Instead he grabbed Robin's ass and slid them off the ledge and onto the rooftop. Robin's hands were all over his suit, clawing at the fabric while his lips wandered along his neckline.
"Um," Terry managed between kisses, "Lemme get the mask off. Otherwise, Bruce will..." Tim ground himself down hard and Terry found himself losing focus. "Um, yeah. Bruce is-" Terry couldn't resist running his hands over those beautifully muscled legs. "Listening."
"Let him." Tim whispered, lightly nipping Terry's ear.
