The further that the group entered the building the more uneasy Prudence was becoming. She had sensed revenants before and had only had a couple close calls but they were fairly distinct from every other creature she could sense. Humans were a rollercoaster of emotions, fluidly changing and evolving, vampires solitary, with the single emotion albeit unique to each one. Revvies were very distinct but also they were exactly the same as each other. Prudence couldn't explain it very easily but it almost seemed to her as if their emotions had degenerated along with their consciousness. They had become pure, primal beings and the only thing they felt was a crippling, desperate hunger. Sensing one revenant close by was enough to distract her but enough of them and it could bring her to her knees with the intensity of it.
The closer they came to the heart of the building the more and more this feeling was building and it was become increasingly difficult to ignore. "Dee..." She started slowly, swallowing a moment of panic and glancing behind her at Sylvia first and then the two others at the rear. "There's a lot of them. I can...feel them." It was moments like these that Prudence was glad to have control of her abilities as much as she did. She was keeping her head now but even she knew she had her limits.
