A chuckle was accompanied by the words, "Of course not!" Isaac said and then shook his head as he smiled at his fledgling, "You would not be you if you did anything else, meine Liebe." But, as Irene's smile faded, so did Isaac's as listened to what else had happened and snorted in reaction to the younger vampire's reason for sneering. Isaac, however, kept whatever negative thoughts he wanted to voice to himself having known his guest lifetimes. Besides, now was not really the time to go on a tirade on what he thought of the humans.
"How are they doing down south? They must be coping well enough for you to return this way," commented Isaac and he then asked, "Any Revenant info that could be useful?" While the Infrastructure was suitable enough to communicate, and far more reliable within the Walls than the postal service was to the outside world, there was no telling what kind of information there was to know beyond his Territory. That question, however, was briefly put on hold by Irene's teasing.
Isaac groaned, letting his head fall back against his shoulders as hands lifted to meet his face, "Oh my God, Irene," he started to say as he righted his head and let his hands fall to his lap. The Territory leader shook his head, blonde locks swishing just slightly as he continued, "Having Elizabeth as my Second was a fucking disaster in the end. You are more than welcome to stay as long as you like. At least I know I can trust you beyond a doubt." The last was said with a fond smile on his face and chuckle.
