Hello~~~!
Hi there! I'm Erin, one of the Mods, and an RPer going on 10 - 15+ years. The staple of my RP experiences lies in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom, but I've branched into DC & Marvel comics, Star Wars, original concepts, and more recently, The Vampire Diaries. I tend to gravitate toward playing angsty, broody males, shy and geeky females, gay, bi, or straight characters. I almost always play OCs unless it be Angel from the Buffyverse, or Raven from the Teen Titans.
Organic to semi-organic storylines are the way to go for me. Sometimes I just need a location, time, and place and I'll be a on a roll. Other times, I may need more nudging in the right direction. When it comes to intimate situations, I'm fine with them as long as it's the right moment and does not go beyond an R rating — anything more will need to FTB. Basically, I can start something of that nature, just not finish it. For other types of scenes, such as combat for example, I'm open to anything as long as it is discussed beforehand and does not result in the death of my character (unless I intend to kill them off lol).
Since a lot of character apps/bios are incomplete, I figured it might be a good idea to just sum them up for the time being to give other players an idea of who I play.
Johnathan Ackerman — A human gifted with an Advanced Level of Enhanced Regeneration, Johnathan is an old soul in an almost literal sense. Born in the Victorian Era, Johnathan's gift was triggered by his violent death at the hands of Nathaniel Bishop and since then, the man has made it his mission to drop any vampire that likes to leave a trail of bodies in their wake. Even in these chaotic times, Johnathan would be considered a gentleman due to his upbringing and given who his Territory Leader is, no one would really expect less of Aubrey Beauclerc's Second-in-Command.
Maxwell Cooke III — Sent to an institution at a young age because his parents couldn't handle his gift of Technopathy, Maxwell Cooke eventually escaped at the age of 14. At 15, he was selling himself on the streets when Amaru found him and took him away from that life. While he has complete respect and gratitude toward Amaru, due to his stint in the institution, Max has strong issues with authority and rarely treats anyone in such a position with as much care as he shows Amaru.
Ciarán Hayes — Born gifted with Lycanthropy, Ciarán is considered "pureblood" because both his parents are also Lycanthropes. A humble and modest individual when not in the boxing ring, inside the ring, Ciarán was a force to be reckoned with until a rival discovered his gift and slowly poisoned him with Wolfsbane to a point where the Werewolf could no longer box. Once he recovered, Ciarán turned his attention to being a tradesman and worked in his father's shop until the Collapse occurred and he was sent in search of his cousin, Declan Moore. Ending up in Amaru's Territory, Ciarán is the de facto Alpha of what is left of Aoife's Folly.
Isaac Holt — The Territory Leader has earned quite the reputation of being harsh yet strangely fair. Outwardly, Isaac comes off as cold with an attitude toward humans that is less than stellar. However, those in his inner circle know differently. For practical purposes, the vampire keeps the distant facade, but inwardly Isaac cares far more than he lets on, particularly when it comes to his bloodline.
Sean Kavanagh — The long haired redhead is probably one of the few rays of sunshine in an otherwise dreary and frightening situation. If you let him, Sean will gossip your ear off and offer fashion advice—whether it's wanted or not—and will generally act as if you'd been friends forever. In Sean's mind, he is everyones friend unless told in no uncertain terms otherwise. Gifted with a high level of Clairvoyance, Sean is able to see the past, recent present, and possible future of any person or object in his vacinity or comes into contact with.
William Lockhart — One of Isaac's Fledglings, William currently resides in Territory 26 as a physician in Aubrey's household. A quiet and introverted individual, William has a reputation of being a gentle soul and slightly absent-minded due to being wrapped up in his thoughts frequently. Once coaxed out of his shell, the vampire has a quiet, charming personality who is very dedicated to his patients and extremely loyal to family.
Elijah Mason — A patient and quiet individual, Elijah keeps mostly to himself and can usually be seen in the presence of Vincent Moreau, his first Fledgling. His skills are such that Elijah could be considered a Jack-of-all-Trades in the safehouse he lives in that is run by Vivian Kerry. But, he prides himself on his hunting abilities so it is not unusual for him to be seen carrying a bow and disappear all day with Vincent in tow, only to return with a deer or two, or some other animal they were able to catch. With no telling how long their situation would last, Elijah was teaching a small group of children how to track before he mysteriously disappearaed after a Revenant attack on the safehouse.
Declan Moore — The almost painfully shy cousin to Ciarán Hayes, Declan is considered the runt of the pack. A huge dork of the first order, the young man can always been seen with his iPod and earphones or some sort of fantasy novel, or a comicbook in his hands.
Vincent Moreau — Vincent likes good food, good wine, and good company. Well, he at least like good food when he could eat it. Still, the mentality has stuck all these years and turned him into quite the charming fellow who, when not with Elijah, is almost always in the company of a lady or two. Despite the small falling out over Elizabeth and Vincents loose morals when it comes to humans, he and Elijah are quite the pair when it comes to the protection of the safehouse and it's occupants.
Sylvia Wilde — Slightly quirky, slightly no-nonsense, but always a warm personality, Sylvia Wilde is often the breath of fresh air to her patients. Being Amaru's Second, she could be considered the mother hen or older sister as she sometimes fusses over the much older vampire like a son or younger brother. When it comes to personal relationships, Sylvia is smart, witty, and charming. She is fiercly dedicated to her patients and in these drastic times, Sylvia will do almost anything to help them.
