so i'm bringing in this gentle guy to the bunch here. his name is matthew harris and he was born in bristol but moved to seattle when his parents split when he was 3. this is where he met his bff miss ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bradygotback. he is currently married but is separated because he's scared to have kids and she's pressuring for childen. so he's going to randomly show up on brady's stoop.

Hello everyone! This is Nigel. He is the younger brother of Fin Murray whom he affectionately calls Squirrel. He adores his older brother and even lives with him. They make quite the odd couple, I am sure!
Nigel was all about flings when he was younger and scarcely took anything serious. Then he knocked up a girl and they ended up having a son together. She pretty much ran off but Nigel took care of the kid. That whole ordeal turned him around and it has since been two years and he is serious about work and family. He is cautious about women but wouldn't object to a serious relationship.
He is in need of everything at this point. Past flings, current romance, best friend, guy friends, gal pals who showed him how to change diapers and all that when he was new and clueless to parenthood... all things! Give me your lines. I want them all!

Hello and good evening! I'm bringing in Astrid Burrows, here, and you'll have to forgive me because it's sort of late for me to be awake and I'm not the best at summarizing anything at this time of night.
Astrid is [sort of] a blank slate right now as far as lifestyle/occupational choices are concerned but I'm leaning towards some kind of small business, probably in the food industry. Personality wise she's more defined; laid back but very much 'by the book' when it comes to running her business, and completely off the rails in most other aspects of her life. She has always lived in London though the exact location has varied quite a bit through the years, and would be more transient if she had the motivation to actually go out into the world and explore. As it stands she's better suited for her "usual haunts" which really just means that she loves her friends and doesn't see any reason to venture very far from them.
She could use any/everything [family? friends? exes? flings?], and I am always up for any sorts of lines, drama, daydreams, or whatever else you can conjure up so please don't hesitate to throw ideas out there. I'm very excited to join all of you!

Hi everybody, this is my lazy(ish) bum, Nic Graham. I kind of suck at summaries, but I'll give it a shot. He hails from Scotland! Grew up in Glasgow, spent most of his childhood hanging out in the lab with his slightly overprotective mumsy. Has a deceased brother he doesn't like to talk about (mostly because he knows very little about him--nothing too dramatic for him there). Being stuck in the lab so much waiting for his mom taught him a lot of patience, so he's almost severely laid back and can often seem like he lacks ambition, which isn't quite true. He was anxious to get out of Scotland, so he went to uni in London and he's been there ever since. Now he's a Detective Inspector and keen on retiring at the same rank as his father one day.
Umm, as far as relationships go--Nic is a former Casanova of a sorts. Not a playboy, mostly he fell in love easily and put his heart into the relationships only to generally get burned. His last relationship really spun him around--he was engaged and she ended up prolonging the engagement until finally citing him as not enough, essentially, and they split. Now he pretends he doesn't care about them and distracts himself with work and reading books in coffee shops (because he totally can't meet women there or anything).
Personality-wise, Nic is, like I said, very laid back. He's easygoing and a good listener, something that's come more from his time being a detective rather than any conventional life experiences. He can be unintentionally inquisitive because of this, too, but he means well. He's a nice guy, maybe not Jim Halpert level of nice, but he can come close! The unconventional kind of nice guy, I suppose.
I'm laid back like mah boy here, so I'm open to any kind of lines. Exes, besties, relatives of some sort, whatever. I'm good for it! <3 See?? Terrible at summaries. I ramble. Sorry!! (p.s., has anyone seen non-Doctor Who icons of David Tennant that are of the nice variety floating around? He's so young in the ones I find!)

meet bailey. she's my troublemaker who originally hails from Malvern in Worchestshire. Her history is pretty cut and dry, grew up with 2 younger siblings, had 2 parents. parents got divorced, moved to london and has pretty much lived there since. she's moody, stubborn, and can be a bit abrasive sometimes but she actually likes people. she smokes pot and is the rhythm guitarist for bradygotback's band.
would love any and all lines.

Hello all! Brady-s here with a new kiddo to bring into the fray. He's an old line from way back that never really got all that developed so in other words, he's a pretty clean slate open for any and all to have at him. What I do have is, he's a transplant from Georgia, a good ol' country boy just looking to cause some trouble. I haven't even come up with a reason for him being in London yet so, if you have something in mind, even if it's as small as like a cousin or something come over to visit or help with something? IDK he's open lol
What I have so far is that he is a loveable goofball who enjoys bursting into random (horribly sung) songs about random things or whatever he happens to be doing at the time, 80s movies, and everything and anything related to Star Wars.

i figured i'd pop in here and see if anyone needs anything while i finish working on her bio/facts! marinna is an american by birth but has been in england for almost fifteen years, currently as a resident in the battersea neighborhood. she gained citizenship after marrying her husband in 2003, but they finalized a divorce several months ago after he left her for a married woman. ouch. other than that, she runs her own DIY/design/arts and crafts blog and is an interior designer/volunteer for habitat for humanity who lives on her own in the house she once shared with her husband, save for the two cats he left behind. she could use a few friends, neighbors, clients, fans of her blog, etc.

Sorry to double-post, but I wanted to post here with my guy, and update everyone on his info. This is Alan Wakefield, editor of the Guardian, janie 's former boss, uncle-type figure to emw and milow, and married man who is currently separated from his wife. Oh, and because I love drama, I'm making it so he was involved in a bit of a scandal a few years back, having an affair with a much younger woman. While he's trying to make it up to his wife and is attending couple's therapy with her, I'm also thinking that his behavior hasn't changed all that much, and he's possibly having an affair with someone who is probably younger than him. This relationship could be more serious than the last, or not - that's open, and I am looking for someone to fill this current/future affair role, or the past affair role, or the role of his wife. ALSO he was in a band with caudell's dad back when they were kids - his 'wilder days' as he calls them! He still plays piano and sings some, also is a decent dancer, although you won't get any of that out of him unless you know him well. I want all the lines, so come and plot with me!

Hello, London. I present to you one Christian Bartholomew Fox. He 38, uncle to the hopefully coming back along shortly Lee (leef), owns a brokerage firm and his specialty is brokering in investments. He's a very ambitious, driven sort of man and doesn't hesitate to get what he wants, although he often does appear to have his client's best interest at heart. In reality, it's not just about making them money but about making him money as well. He is of the mentality that he is a handsome, successful, charming man and therefore that affords him certain opportunities that others do not have. He is married, but not happily so and is engaging in an extramarital affair with Eliza (emills), whom he lied to (he thought it was more an omission at the time) about his marital status, because that's what you do when you're stepping out of your marriage and in search for something newer, more exciting. Anyway, I'm still trying to formulate him and get him actually drawn up on paper so to speak, but I would love to work out things with you lovely people.

This is Isobel (Iz or Izzie for short). She is Ellie's half sister and makes sure to emphasize it. They share a father and she is a couple of months older than Ellie. A bit (much) on the careless and silly side she has yet to find a career or even a job that keeps her interest for longer than five minutes. Very open to mostly everyone, she trusts easily and doesn't want to learn from mistakes. She's always there for her friends, although she might forget to keep in touch every now and then. So, bringing this one back if any one needs her for things! This is Eliza, more commonly 'Ellie', a 28-year-old who works for leef's uncle's. Ahem.
She's gobby, impulsive, playful, opinionated, determined and often direct to a fault. She can be quite confrontational about some things but if she likes you, she's loyal. She isn't above admiring anyone who can beat her at her own game, either. She has loads of outward baseness but internalizes a lot of herself and isn't a wrong one exactly, just...she was kind of dragged up.
She's emw's old school friend and and instigator of things they shouldn't have been doing. She shares a house with Emma and westcotts.

Hello! Thanks for having me! This is Marcus, Milo's older and more respectable brother. Marcus is a food critic who enjoys the finer things in life. He is not your warm and cuddly sort. Elo London! This is Brady she moved to London from Seattle with her then girlfriend and now wife rfmartinez a few months ago. She's a musician by trade however, with the movie she's a little lost and has been working as a bartender and a stripper while awaiting some inspiration. Currently she is friends with milow who took her under his wing when she was new and only had Ryley so she's kind of attached to him now and because of him has also taken a shine to emw who has been helping her get inspired by sharing music :) Lines for her are small and I know there isn't the usual family/exes lines but friends? Co-workers maybe in one of her endeavors, other musicians to help inspire her would be boss actually lol.

Forgot to mention she is also a super nerd obsessed with super heroes and comic books. So much so that she has an entire room in her and her wife's flat that is dedicated to comics, action figures, posters, games, etc she calls her 'nerd room'
