Beater for Falmouth Falcons & Scottish National Squad - infamous for rough play, fouls, and suspensions.

Step brother to Morag MacDougal. There are three others (two are playable) Lachlan Urquhart (DE dead in BoH but would be 29), Malcolm MacDougal (28) & Lex Urquhart (27). So basically there has been a MacDougal - Urquhart in every year of Hogwarts from '76 - '98

Was beater on his house team.

Hates politics. Was outspoken in his hatred of Dumbledore, Potter, et al. Was equally outspoken in his belief that the Dark Lord was full of shit. He lost his father in the first rising and wanted none of that, even when his step father and older brother got involved.

Livin la vida quidditch star. You will see his cocky expression frequently on billboards and on the WiVi promoting everything from the broom he helped design, to quidditch supplies, to clothing, to accessories, to toiletries, etc. Often reported in the company of a new WAG. Legendary manwhore.

I'm just going to skip to the relevant ones....

Roger: Total Falcombros. I feel like Luag and Roger would be opposing sides of the same coin. At first glance they're both playboy Quidditch players with little interest in politics. But then Roger's all non-competitive and generally good-natured, and Luag is full of passion and aggression.

Hannah: Is Viktor's publicist. Or at least part of the MHTA team that reps him. She could be his, hypothetically? I'm still hoping for her to have a client that treats her like crap and sends her off on senseless errands and such like a second rate assistant. IDK if that would apply here, but I'm just spitballin' now.

Oliver: I like the fact that Luag and Oliver both come from farms. But outside of that and the fact that they're both members of The Club (I'm assuming that all male professional quidditch players in this game are part of "men's club", because I'm a dork like that)... What do you think?

As for Jace, Persephone, Ron, and Jackie... I don't have any instant ideas for how they're connected, but that doesn't mean I won't think of something later... And also, I'm totally down for anything you've got up your sleeves. So yeah.

Now I'm just going to go stare at your icons for a while.

Perfect for Roger. It truly shows that you never know what's under the surface of a person, but you can always bet that something is.

Luag is a publicist's nightmare. He is always saying or doing something that brings a lot of divisive media attn. He's a love him/hate him kinda guy. If he were a footballer, he'd be a Pepe, de Jong, Luis Suarez, or Joey Barton with a side of Cristiano Ronaldo. He would try to shag Hannah, but other than that, I'm not sure what the dynamic would be. I've never played him with a PR rep.

Yes! He and Noll are both members of The Club lol and both coming from a farm they both probably have an understanding of hard work and "real" living.

I can't think of anything for the others right off, though for some reason my brain is loling at him selling his sperm. He doesn't need the money though so I'm not sure why he would.

Okay, sorry tomorrow's my son's b-day there's a lot of running around as i prep the kitchen for all out war in the form of cake pans, red cake, blue icing and all out hell! *sigh* Okay!!

Already discussed Astoria's take on him. So, don't have to go back into that.

Theo: He has a slight obsession with Quidditch, terrified of heights, he doesn't get up on a broom but he still loves the sport. He follows it religiously, and studies the players, their moves, their strengths and weaknesses, etc. So if nothing else, they can at least have conversations about Quidditch.

Lavender: She follows Quidditch, but for different reasons. She cheers on former Gryffindors, or people who were friendly types with her. The other reason she likes Quidditch? Its for the hot Quidditch guys. She says, there needs to be a sexy calendar!

Theo likes to think of himself as open minded when it comes to politics. He understands that there has to be new blood in the wizarding world so people aren't so inbred we have "cousin-uncle-daddy" who is the husband of "sister-cousin-auntie" i'm thinking of the were-panther kin from True Blood when I think of how Theo sees the purists and their inability to let new blood (ie muggleborn) mix with their old. That being said, because of who his father was (purist, moldie-voldie supporter, Lucius ass kisser) and what he demanded of Theo (the same, the same, Draco ass kisser), he kept his own views to himself and was pretty quiet during school.

Luag is subtly pureist but he views it more like breeding animals. Linebreeding is all fine and good to enhance good genetics, but it can become inbreeding quickly and soon there are more genetic problems than benefits. You have to bring in some fresh blood to compliment your lines. Of course, that's easy for him to say as a pure blood. While he'll shag anyone, he will probably end up marrying someone pure. I digress.

In school, he had no problem criticizing Potter, Dumbledore, etc. But he had no interest in joining in with the Future Death Eaters of Britain gang. His father died in the first war, his step father was a DE, so was his older brother. He wasn't into it. He kept his opinions to himself and stuck with others who either didn't care or did the same.

Gale

galer ('94 Slyth | WiVi Producer) He would also know Luag from social purebloody things. And likely from Slytherin as well. Gale played beater in 1990-1993 - so depending what years Luag played in school they may have been on the quidditch team together for a second? He didn't play in his 7th year to focus on his NEWTS. Either way Gale would likely try to bro with him from time to time. Because... MEN!

Alicia

midspin ('96 Gryff | Photojournalist) Alicia used to play for the Prides of Portree from 96-2000 until she got caught skimming points and was kicked out the league. There was never enough evidence to find her guilty in the courts - but... she got banned from quidditch for life! She's now a photojournalist who has likely taken pictures of Luag either for print material or for the occasion "quick cash paparrazi snapshot." So I think at the very least they'd know of each other. Whether they've spoken or interacted beyond that is up to you.

guffygold ('88 Puff | Magical Seed Healer) I'm not too sure if they would have known each other too well. She's older than he is by a few years. And she doesn't particularly follow quidditch. ALAS!

unsplinched ('98 Puff | Obliviator) Susan may have recognized him from school. She'd be cordial if they ever ran into each other. And she's likel totally oggled his adverts... because she does that. She's also had a fling or so with Roger in the past so they might know each other in passing... but meh totally not necessary.

Phillip - Yes, social events etc. What type of medicine is he in?

Gale - Were probably on the team together for Luag's first year as beater, and Gale would probably have been on the team/know Luag's older brothers. Total current social + bro time lol.

Alicia - Played against each other in school and at first when she was with Portree. He might feel a little bad for her getting turfed from the league. Now he is totally tabloid fodder. If they've interacted in the past, it has probably just been random little exchanges. Will be interesting to see what happens if they get thrown together though.

Ella - I don't see anything there either really.

Susan - Depending on how much of a fling or if she ever went to matches or went to watch Roger at practice or went out with them all, he might recognize her a bit more than he recognizes others.

also i think angelina would probably have the most contact with him out of my two, since they're both huge in quidditch rn (she's the captain & chaser of the appleby arrows) and of the same generation of players, so undoubtedly have met each other on the quidditch/celeb circuit! ange has been about the lifestyles of the rich & the famous for a while now. party buddies, maybe? prob were paired together for an ad campaign or something?

	Agreed. I think that he and Ange spend a lot of time on the same circles off the pitch. They would make a great advert campaign together, then there could be rumours about whether or not there was anything going on between them, which is hilarious with Luag because he's just terrible. HEY MARGOT.

This is Cindy, and apologies for my unfashionably late arrival to this intro! This here is Viktor Krum, who is excited (in his own way) at the arrival of his teammate. Also, as a football fan, I kind of adore the Pepe/Nigel/Luis Suarez comparisons. TOO APT. (fun fact: I likened Viktor to Beckham.) That said, I'd love to vouch for a Viktor/Luag bromance. It could be an opposites-attract sort of thing, as Viktor is the strong-and-silent type and Luag is the strong-and-not-silent type, lawl. What do you think?!
