Pure rage. It cannot be held back. Cannot be contained. The psychic touch is not kept to merely the Blood. The Queen is beyond being able to calm herself.

[ ooc: because Phobos cannot behave, he set fire to one or two or several of the trees. Gabrielle is livid. She went out to stop him and try to douse the flames before they did too much damage and he taunted her. Anyone who comes out to investigate will see the God of Fear and the Dea al Mon Queen going toe to toe. Someone should probably stop them. Just sayin' ]

The cursing that follows is just as psychic, and therefore -- theoretically -- just as understandable... but.

But that language is not one that humans generally know.

And the concepts behind it are less than fully clear, as well, for that matter.

That said -- there's something very like a bolt of lightning, from the far trees toward the fire, and then one furious giant-son of Fire stands at the edge of the blaze, eating the flames.

Someone else, though, hears, and has some idea of someone else who might be able to do something --

Iarnvidiath sounds only slightly panicked, mostly just filled with fervor as she breaks through all of poor Eli Monpress' mental barriers to push, « KARON. » A friendly pile of rocks, rolling entreatingly in the lava spirit's direction. « FIX IT. »

There is, of course, a problem with Iarnvidiath's plan, here --

-- namely, the fact that poor Eli Monpress, and all his broken mental barriers, is now curled up semi-conscious in the fetal position on the floor of his and Kit's living room, and is, thus, completely incapable of helping Karon out of his chest, or providing the lava spirit with any additional energy with which to do anything to the flames.

Ooops.

★ Lady Gabrielle, the trees need you more than he needs to be disciplined, right now. Care for the one that needs your care first, Lady, please. ★

It's said firmly, but with that hint of entreaty to soften enraged female nerves. It's not an order, because he's not hers and doesn't have the right to order her specifically, but it's treading awfully close to that line.
