Waking up to find that all of his cigarettes were gone, even the ones that were in yesterday's pants, panicked Bryce at first. He always enjoyed a cigarette in the morning when he woke up, but right now he was unable to do that because he was currently all out of them. He turned his room upside down trying to find even just one cigarette, but it all seemed to be for naught. Every pillow, blanket and piece of furniture was moved, opened, or shaken out to see if maybe one had been missed. There didn't seem to be even a shred of tobacco in his room. Whomever took them was talented at sneaking, because they had managed to take them while he was asleep. Being a light sleeper made that even more impressive! That was when he decided that he was going to do something instead of obsessing over the urges tickling at the back of his brain.
Having put up a journal and chatted for a moment on it, Bryce laid down for a few hours. It was easier to sleep for a bit than to worry about trying to ignore the urges of his mind. When he woke up again, he had to decide what it was that he wanted to do to further distract himself. He'd said he was going to work out in his journal, so he decided that that was what he was going to do. Putting on at outfit to work out in, Bryce prepared himself mentally. The last time he had gone to work out, some very awkward things had happened in the locker room. He hoped that wouldn't happen again, but he knew just how his luck could be. For all he knew, he could end up in a very compromising situation. However, that was a risk that he was going to have to take, because he wasn't going to stop working out just because of that. He would just have to do better at hiding who he was.
With that thought, he moved from his room down to the gym. Each step had him thinking "Cigarette" over and over again. Hopefully once he was lifting weights he would be distracted by the repetitive motion enough that he wouldn't be thinking that way. Arriving in the weight room, he saw that he was blissfully alone. Immediately moving to the free weights, he began curling and squatting. Today was a musculature day, thus he was going to work on those. Upon completion of that, he moved to the bench, put on the appropriate amount of weights, and began lifting. His eyes closed as he lifted and brought the weights down, counting out each press in his head. Due to his closed eyes, he didn't see the person come into the weight room.
