"Just because we're alone in your rooms after curfew?" Alina questioned innocently. "And because you're in a state of undress?" She couldn't hold a straight face any longer, a full grin breaking out.
"Tomorrow," she promised, slipping out once more and retreating back through the tunnels to her own room.
She could barely sleep the whole night, and Genya had certainly kept them all up later than they should have anyway, peppering her with questions about just how the meeting had gone and how many muscles the prince had developed during his time away.
Regardless, Alina was in a hurry to leave, rushing through her breakfast. And at Fedyor's questioning glance, she shrugged.
"I guess I'm just hungry," she answered. "I did a double-practice last night on my own. I'm trying for three balls of light now."
