The silence truly was starting to become unbearable. The only thought that kept Andromeda from breaking the silence first was that she would rather die than give Bellatrix any more satisfaction than she already had by showing up when summoned. Even now, her thoughts and feelings muddled by the arrow she'd taken, Andromeda's hackles rose in response to Bellatrix's comments about Ted. Even after having broken up with him, even after everything that had happened since and every moment she had allowed Rodolphus to take advantage of what she had to offer, Ted was someone to defend. Someone about whom she still cared a great deal. It took a considerable amount of effort not to grind her teeth in response to her sister's jibes. It hurt far too much to remember all that had come between them to lead them to this place, but Andromeda was careful to hide it behind a slowly growing smile.
