Justin was glad to hear that Susie knew she was cared for. Even with everyone being so busy - himself included - he always tried his very best to be around if he was needed. Not like back at home when he uncharacteristically shut down for a few months. But he was trying actively to make amends for that. "This island does make for a lot of adjusting. Some of us are more fortunate than others with who has been here to welcome them." Looking around at the small shack, it was still luxury compared to the huts. "Oh, I don't doubt it. I'm quite envious myself."
Justin sucked in a breath, remembering the anxiety he felt over telling her. "It was difficult to explain. However, I explained that if they were to ever show up here, that I would explain that I had moved on, that I was with her on the island and I was happy, she came around." After all it was the truth, Justin wouldn't have told her any less.
